. And so today I learned that … How far behind in harnessing the wind turbine technology? Certainly, large companies with their technology abroad basa Here is a long process to site a wind farm – so there is smoothed and permit an additional problem that the good areas are far from the population (eg , in the Scottish Highlands). We could build wind farms there, but the cost of electricity infrastructure to move to London, for example, would be huge for the amount of electricity generated. Remember also that when the price of politicians "could power a city the size of .." That means when the wind is at its optimum speed – that does not consistently and so is not that the way relaible energy, we still need traditional methods when the wind does not blow. Tidal energy is predictable, but there are times when the tides are small. Solar energy is possible, but expensive solar panels – we could use plants as the gatheres energy and burn, but using agricultural land All options must look together and we have a mixture of all technologies to ensure a steady supply of electric power

This is the project: Our class has the task of identifying the ten best places for wind farms in Canada. We will break into eight groups, each with a separate territory. The group needs to identify the locations of the top three within their region and present their findings to the class. Each wind farm is 1km x 1km. Considerations for your group: – What technology will you choose? – Taking into account the wind zone, so its output be? – Therefore, the winds are constant or vary greatly from day to day or season to season? – Will the field or the temperature will be a problem? – What are the requirements of the turbine (wind, temperature, soil conditions, technical)? – How is power distributed? – Therefore, there is some local restriction? Where I can find information on winds and things, the region we have is QUEBEC. I do not know how to find a 1 x 1 km and find the winds, the wind maps sent to Quebec? We have to build 3 wind techinically not pick them up. Can anyone help? Thank you. . What I discovered was – Check this site out: I found it, and I clicked a little, and seems likely to help determine a place to pick up another of your wind farm scenario. Select "Statistics of the wind" option on the top bar, click on the map of any part of North America, then click Quebec, then choose one of those random arrows or circles for details. After that, choose the tab "wind statistics" and given a monthly breakdown of wind speed (in knots) on the page. If you are unfamiliar with how a node becomes normal speed. . Go ahead and click on the link "Wind speed" and that will give you more details and some conversions. Try to find a place with higher wind speeds throughout the year for the location, and if possible that the winds should be in the same direction unless you put up turbines that can change direction. As to wind turbines and how they function. . Click on this site :: Wind and you can get some information about what the wind turbine accelerates certain models have to work, and power output. You may need more information, but these 2 sites should give you a good boost if you are still looking.

Is there any offshore wind turbines in the UK with suction caisson foundations instead of steel monopile foundations. Please, if you can give me a list of sites for wind farms, type of foundation used, soil conditions and other technical information. If this is not possible you can give technical details of the offshore wind turbines worldwide, but most importantly, soil conditions and type of foundation used (i. E. Monopile, gravity, tripod, a suction chamber, etc.).. Today I learned that … You might be best to research for yourself, because I'm not sure anyone here know this at the top of his head. . I would look for a list of offshore wind farms in the UK – which is a good start and then look at each turn of the details of construction, perhaps a web search something like "Burbo Bank" suction caisson "" and see what results above (in this case, ground monopiles). This link may help:

I'm doing a poster on renewable energy, and I wish someone verify that all these facts are correct: Poster of clean energy: What is clean energy? This is the energy produced from renewable sources (naturally replenished) and natural resources without having a negative impact on the environment. Examples of reliable sources "clean" energy are sunlight, water, wind, biomass and geothermal. Wind Power – this is the conversion of wind power energy sources used, especially for electricity. This feeding can be obtained by using wind turbines and windmills. Solar Energy – this is the power that is obtained from sunlight and can be converted into other types of energy. Inventions such as solar panels can help collect this source of energy for conversion. Biomass – Biomass is any plant (trees) or animal matter, and can be used to create an energy-rich gas called biogas. Biomass can also be burned to create fuel for different uses. SOLAR-This renewable energy source produces no waste or pollution. -This fuel is used for many things: Electricity, creating biomass, hot water, and buildings, and even transportation (cars powered by solar energy)-This is a free energy source, clean and reliable. WIND-This is one of the lowest prices for renewable energy sources. -This source of renewable energy is a good alternative to nuclear power in areas with favorable climatic conditions. -This source can provide cleaner air and a much healthier environment for all. Biomass growth of biomass as a fuel can create jobs in rural areas. -Biomass is a fossil fuel, not (as oil and coal), but fresh and natural material that can grow again, even after harvest. -The use of this power supply will not have a major effect on the environment. Are you all right / correct? All I have to edit / change. What I discovered was – Biomass does not create biofuels, however. Biomass is usually sent to a biomass plant that makes electricity. Yes, it is the small trees and shrubs and even walnut shells that break then burned in a heating furnace water vapor mass that spins a turbine generator that produces electricity. Gas can be converted into ethanol, but now her face to bear fruit. I'm a lumberjack

May be mere stress cracks in the propellers, it may be that a large accumulation of ice, there was a cutting blade. (Not confirmed temperatures in the area at the time) could be from another world as this video explains. If some of the locals said was true. I did some serious and independent investigation several local residents had seen unusual lights, the terrible story of a man was impressive, he said it looked like an octopus bright, bright fly with long tentacles that shone bright. A lady said she saw lights flying over the fence of the guns, and another (in this clip) said he saw strange lights heading right for it? I am a believer and a skeptic also you be the judge. According to The Sun newspaper in the UK who covered it, they were told that the piece of sheet 65 'has not recovered from the scene, no trace of the leaf. Do you know what I found? Looks like a faulty design

Wind turbine has two major advantages behind the first use is that they are eco-friendly, and the second is that they are profitable. These are two fundamental reasons why people prefer them in their homes and businesses. As you use the natural energy source, the absence of chemical gases is one thing and amazing of these devices for power generation, making our Earth a much cleaner and safer place to live.Wind turbines at home work is done by generating electricity by wind generator in the pipeline. At the top of the roof, consisting of three blades of the fan, placed in a rotor, which cuts the power to the generator. Wind turbine works the exact opposite of a ceiling fan. Ceiling fan electricity needs first, then turns and the wind blows towards us while the wind turbine needs air to rotate the shaft, the shaft in turn connected to the generator and produces electricity.Basically, wind turbines are used to cut the use of traditional energy, coming from power plants. Wind turbine can be easily created by all, but the effectiveness is determined by its exact location. However, it is possible to use in the area with dense population. Wind patterns are affected by urban development and large buildings, effectively reducing the energy that would be generated in a natural environment. In areas with high development is suggested that wind turbines in homes can be used to reduce small portion of carbon footprint and energy bill as little more than is really possible in that environment. Also up for the system depends on wind conditions in your region. In areas with light to moderate winds, a high-rise structure is needed. If your area is enriched by the wind, and on the coast, the structure need not be so high.wind turbine at all and everything provides a wealth of information such as wind power generating, solar panels, solar water heaters, magnetic generators, etc. So, we try to develop electricity from renewable energy source because ants do not cause damage to the environment and also very cost-effective.

Most regions understand that the time of these actions is quickly hidden from us, we now see that we are in the "we have to get it done now on stage." Sooner or later, the time is fast becoming, we better do this and then we would have liked to have achieved our energy consumption under control. In most respects, the whole problem can be intimidating and to some extent dejecting. Fortunately, there are solutions to energy problems the world if you just apply and develop their full potential and more efficient. Solar energy start making excellent progress in technology and execution as well as other alternative energy solutions. One such alternative is wind power, an uninterrupted source of clean energy that is actually making great progress in reducing coal power energy source point that is being used. What is a wind turbine? A wind turbine used for electricity production is not as difficult a thing to understand. It is almost exactly like water wheels centuries people have used to make flour. The only difference is that instead of using water to convert wind water wheel is used. The wind makes the blades of the wheel to turn, with the help of all the arts, magnets and resistance creates electricity that becomes an engine to send electricity along power lines. Unfortunately, when the energy generated by the turbine can not be stored in batteries so that there is a need for backup systems, but for the most part, a system is quite efficient. Location, Location, Location This last point about not being able to store the generated energy in batteries for later use puts some emphasis on that wind turbines are located. Since the energy that is generated needs to be sent over power lines and used immediately, turbines located in a place where the wind always blow. One might think, so it should not be that hard. Well … Yes and no. The turbine must be located where there is a constant and stable wind most of the time, but also has to be located in a place where a few number of turbines can be located. The problem now is that a turbine generates some energy, but energy is not enough to be economically viable. Several hundreds of turbines should be in place for this to happen. There are many places around the world where this is possible, but the general concept is regional. In other words, the power to do in Las Vegas, stays in Vegas. The power generated in West Texas, is in western Texas. This is not a bad thing especially since the largest cities in Texas are getting a good deal of its energy from wind turbines reduces the need for coal power needed for other places like Los Angeles. Not in my backyard The particular problem for people who do not want to watch or listen to the wind turbines throughout the day has become a bit of a problem. In larger sites more rural West Texas is a little background on wind turbines, the sound they make (constantly) and their future when they have become obsolete and need to be removed, but as the whole concept is so new term is a bit of a learning curve. If the problem is likely to be resolved is in the more urban areas, where the use of wind turbines is starting to creep in. As vocal suburbanites hear about proposals "turbine farms," all-of-a- suddenly decide they are good with wind power, but does not look to 100 turbines in the view at the top of the mountain, the sound coastal or backyard.Reading in the dark People can become vocal in not wanting to see or hear the wind turbines on a daily basis, but may need to understand that alternative energy sources are coming. Better think about the need and how it will address the issue personally. Start with solar, wind, hydro nuclear energy because of the choice of a source earlier in the afternoon may be the best way to keep, not in my backyard, not in my backyard.
